Job Responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial statements for the Private Bank in Singapore
• Prepare and submit MAS regulatory reports, Survey and Statistics
• Assist in the preparation of schedules for tax computations and addressing tax agent requests for information
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns
• Participate in finance related projects e.g. new MAS 610 and GST reverse charge
• Undertake any other finance duties as directed by the Head of Finance

Job Requirements:

• Graduate in Accountancy or related discipline
• Minimum of 8 years working experience in Accounting within the Banking sector
• In-depth experience in preparing MAS regulatory reports for Wholesale Bank
• In-depth skill sets on company Income tax & GST
• Good knowledge of IFRS and MAS regulations
• Experience in project implementation and testing will be advantageous
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfortable with using Excel formulas and Macros
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Proactive, multitasking & analytical skills
• Meticulous and highly-motivated team player who is able to meet challenging work demands and tight deadlines
• Working experience and familiarity in utilizing the following systems:
  • SAP for Accounting;
  • Avaloq banking system;
  • FRS Global for MAS reporting
  • Business Objects
