CONTRACT BANK PROJECT MANAGER, REGULATORY CHANGE

Overview of business area:
 
The APAC Business Services (Regulatory Change) team is responsible for managing regulatory change across the APAC division.
The role will specifically play a crucial role in helping the APAC division become compliant with regulatory changes related to both the Business Conduct and Data Privacy programs.
The resource will be a key member of the team with the opportunity to work with multiple business lines (Private Banking, Capital Markets), jurisdictions (APAC regional regulators across Singapore, Hong Kong); as well as with other divisional regulatory Change teams.
 
Key Responsibilities: 
 
Key responsibilities are related to Project Management support / business analysis :-
  1. Conduct gap analysis of open issues and requirements, develop solutions and secure agreement on ownership leveraging governance forums, Sponsor(s)
  2. Manage risks/issues; and escalate accordingly to ensure all open items are closed out in a timely manner
  3. Drive Steering Committee meetings & working group meetings
  4. Prepare relevant project artefacts in line with change governance standards
  5. Co-ordinate and lead end-to-end project activities covering process changes, testing, training, communication
  6. Co-ordinate project work with other departments (Business COO teams, Legal, Compliance, Technology, reporting teams etc.)
 
Overview of the department:
The role will report in to the Business Conduct & Data Protection Change function lead within APAC Business Services (Regulatory Change); though the candidate will work independently as a project manager
 
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
  1. 8 - 12 years of business analysis and/or project management experience with a Financial Services firm or leading management consulting or strategy consulting firm with a focus on financial services.
  2. Good exposure to banking products and processes especially related to the front office and client controls
  3. Any prior experience working on front office, onboarding and data privacy projects is desirable
  4. Possess strong problem-solving skills in combination with a great eye for detail.
  5. Impeccable communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  6. Dedicated problem solver with a positive can-do attitude comfortable leading change initiatives across complex organizations
  7. Ability to develop effective PowerPoint presentations to present key decisions required from project stakeholders and ensure the project milestones are delivered
  8. Succinct an articulate communicator and be able to deliver against the urgency of (some) regulatory deadlines

 

Salary Range: $10,000 - $12,000 Per Month
