Overview of business area or project:
The Credit Risk Reporting team in Singapore is involved in reviewing reports covering credit risk exposures across the APAC trading and lending portfolios. These reports are used to illustrate the bank’s key credit exposures and risk profile to senior management, the board, regulators, investors, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include:
- Review of key credit risk reports for APAC
- Providing senior management with explanation for reported numbers
- Providing analysis and deep dives on significant risk drivers or focus areas
- Regulatory reporting, including ad hoc queries from regulators
- Participating in methodology reviews and implementation of any methodological changes
- Specifying and testing the necessary changes to move reporting processes into strategic systems
- Continuous improvements to reporting and controls process
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
- Credit Risk experience – around 5 years of experience across Private Banking and Investment Banking businesses
- Strong analytical skills and ability to deal with large data sets
- Advanced MS excel capability
- Proficiency in data analytics platforms such as Qlik is highly advantageous
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and to prioritize accordingly
- Good understanding of financial products
- Attention to detail and ability to provide deep dive analysis
- Flexibility to take on new demand
- Strong academics, ideally in Finance/Economics degree
Salary: $7,700 Per Month
