Job Description:

• Implementation of access control policies for firewalls, routers and other network security devices deployment of new network security related devices such as firewalls, routers, NIDS, IPS, proxies, routers and switches
• Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity problems for customers in timely manner
• Participate in a support rota to provide support to network operations team in relation to network security products and process
  

Responsibilities:

• To deliver end to end connectivity as defined by connectivity requests from business following strict documented procedures for implementation of changes
• To be able to work within a global team to deliver a high volume of connectivity requests within strict timeframes, communicate well with team members and provide updates\feedback in timely manner
• To ensure connectivity complies with Bank design standard and as approved by the information security office
• To follow closely internally documented product procedures for the deployment of new network security devices such as firewalls, proxies, vpns, routers, switches, IPS, NIDS working closely with the engineering team subject matter experts to ensure standards are clarified and implemented accordingly
• To be conversant with network security products and related industry information
• To ensure project deadlines are met

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology is required or minimum 5 years’ experience in implementing Check Point firewall policies.
• The following certifications are preferred: - Cisco Certification – CCIE, CCNP, CCNA - Check Point Certification – CCSA, CCSE - General Security Certification – CISSP
• Highly experienced in operation and deployment of Check Point Provider1\MDSS centralized management and Firewall1 security gateways from Smart dashboard. Some knowledge of GAIA OS and SecurePlatform OS command line beneficial
• Good experience of implementing and troubleshooting of ACLs on Cisco routers Nexus and IOS
• Experience of deploying firewall rules that utilize Network Address Translation (NAT)
• Good experience in troubleshooting firewall connectivity issue from firewall logs
• Strong in McAfee proxy setup and management is essential. Experience with other proxy products added advantage
• Experience with using network troubleshooting tools such as tcpdump\ wireshark
• Some experience of Juniper SRX firewall and CISO ASA firewall beneficial
• Understanding network routing and topology
• Prior working experience in a banking environment with understanding process like ITIL is preferred
• Project Management and deployment of new products experience are added advantage
• Experience of working in a financial service IT environment beneficial

Salary: $7,000 Per Month
