CONTRACT BANK BUSINESS ANALYST (DATA)

The Data / Business Analyst is in charge of:

  • Performing business analysis on various innovation projects and process improvement
  • Building and producing reports, dashboards, KPI on KYC operations production and processes
  • Participating to Change Management activities

The position is part of the Innovation, Projects, Analytics and Support team (IPAS), reporting to the head of IPAS and working closely with the Global Referential Management department (GRM) and Projects teams in Singapore and Paris.

 

Business Analysis

  • Writing of Business Specifications
  • Definition of As-is and To-be processes
  • Animation & Participation to workshops with KYC SME business operators to identify requirements and draw processes
  • Functional support to development team during design, build and test phases
  • Preparation, Execution and follow-up of User Acceptance Test phases (test cases)
  • Support to development team for preparation of production releases
  • Communication and coordination of business operator actions related to the project
  • Functional monitoring of production post go-live

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Produce recurring reports, dashboards and KPI on KYC operation production
  • Handle spot requests on ad-hoc extractions
  • Use BI reporting tool
  • Enhance and optimize existing reporting tools (including automation if possible)
  • Create new reports, dashboards and KPI depending on needs
  • Maintain existing reports / tools to adapt to operational processes evolution

Change Management

  • Redaction / support of redaction / update of procedures and tutorials
  • Functional support to business teams in preparation of deployment
  • Guidance during trainings of users before roll-out

Project and continuous improvement

  • Develop initiatives and strategies to optimize and improve overall processes
  • Drive project and continuous improvement topics from end-to-end depending on the validated roadmap for each year (new tools implementation, process re-engineering, automation, production efficiency, data quality improvement)
  • Align with KYC operation objectives and management

Back-up for other team members

 

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the Singapore Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
  • Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.

 

Main Requirements:

  • Business Analysis experience and skills: gather and elicit business needs, functional specifications, process mapping, data mapping, UAT conception/execution
  • Knowledge of Corporate/Investment Banking Middle-Office and Back-Office processes
  • Knowledge of AML/KYC business / processes
  • Knowledge of Robotics Process Automation (RPA)
  • MS Office, MS Visio, JIRA
  • Knowledge of BI tools
  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skill
  • Thorough in his/her work
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Able to work autonomously with limited guidance
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to easily communicate with multi-cultural team members

Salary: $5,500 Per Month
