Key Responsibilities
- Accountable to manage the delivery of the Changes required to the CFO Bond, Equity, Warrant subledger and posting engines
- Manage stakeholders and ensure that issues are / barriers are resolved in timely basis or escalated if not.
- Ability to frame and propose approach with stakeholders and negotiate and agree next steps to remain on track for delivery
- Provide status reports of workstream progress and RAIDS to be tracked as part of delivery
- Completing solution design to determine the CFO system architecture to be deployed for the specific requirements of the infrastructure initiative (Recommended CFO system/process architecture)
- Determining the CFO requirements and the solution requirements through systems set up, configuration and development (Deliverables include; Business requirement document)
- Gather detailed data and functional requirements to support CFO processes, document in clear, concise and comprehensive manner, and articulate to IT teams for their understanding
- Conduct working group meeting, business requirement gathering workshops and UAT status update meetings with CFO users and IT teams
- Execute against the test plans and co-ordinate the execution of user acceptance testing by CFO user groups involved (Deliverables include; Test plan, Test cases with expected results, Defect register and resolution plan)
- Determining and coordinating the execution of system deployment in a production environment
- Provide prompt and concise status updates to project managers, including accurate progress updates and escalation of risks, issues and dependencies in respective areas of responsibilities
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
- 10+ years’ experience in a Financial Accounting or Product Control Line role in the Financial Services industry and/or a Finance Change role in the Financial Services industry
- Private Banking and/or Investment Banking product knowledge (Deposits, Lending, Structured Deposits, Bonds, Equities) and the CFO processes typically required to support such processes
- Strong communication (written, verbal, presentational) skills
- Ability to independently perform business and gap analysis and willing to reach out to multiple unknown areas to close out information gaps in order to complete business analysis
- Accountancy qualification and an understanding of US GAAP and IFRS requirements for the accounting of derivatives and financial instruments (in particular PB product offerings)
- Demonstrated capability (5 years+) of managing and executing change in a Financial Services organisation for CFO systems and processes
- Undergraduate degree in Business or Commerce
- Intermediate-level skills for Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
Salary Range: $10,000 - $11,400 Per Month
