Summary:
This role forms an integral part of the Country Operation in Singapore in conjunction with the offshore teams in India and Manila. Ideally the candidate should have a very strong understanding of all HR Operations processes, and be well experienced in dealing with HR onshore stakeholders, as well as internal and external vendors.
The primary focus for this role is to manage the Country Operations activities in ensuring that all agreed tasks that have been defined as onshore activities are conducted in a professional and consistent manner. A secondary focus of this role is to act as a link between the HR stakeholders in Singapore and the offshore teams in Bangalore and Manila. As a crucial link in the delivery chain the incumbent can be expected to work with stakeholders to manage, mitigate and troubleshoot any upcoming operational problems between the teams.
Additional requirements will also involve operational governance of onshore processes, offshore teams and third party vendors, documentation of KOPs, maintenance of Business Continuity Management (BCM) procedures, liaison with regulators (MAS, MOM, IMDA, and SNEF), active participation in internal and external Audit reviews, and active participation in projects.
Key Work Requirements:
- Manage, deliver and implement requirements relating to regulators such MAS and MOM
- Review, implement and advise on Country policies in the light of Singapore statutes, regulatory changes and industry practices
- Participate, manage and deliver internal and external Auditors’ requirements
- Vendor management activities and relationships relevant to the scope of Country Operations
- Maintenance of onshore process documentation and governance framework
- Manage the effective delivery of all agreed onshore activities including, Training support, Graduate support, submission of Training grants, parenthood grants, employees’ letters and contracts, employment/ dependent pass endorsements, PR application endorsement, CPF contribution application to government bodies, archiving of documents and BCM activities
- Identify & implement process improvements and as challenges arise, proactively lead in redefining processes steps or tasks (on- and offshore)
- Participate in various country HR projects and initiatives as they arise

Skills & Experience:
- 3 years experience in Bank HR Operations
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively, at all levels, both face to face and via telephone and email

Salary Range: $6,000 - $6,500
