Job Description:
- Lead the Risk Control team to manage the branch’s credit, market and operational risks associated with the branch’s activities
- Ensure adequate oversight of risk by Branch and Head Office Management and thereby promote a safe and sound banking environment
- Liaise with Business Units and external counsel on credit documentation related to our corporate and private banking businesses
- Ensure that the Branch has adopted a comprehensive risk assessment approach, including a detailed structure of limits, guidelines and other parameters to manage the branch’s credit, market and operational risks
- Provide guidance to various Business units on appropriate management of external risks applicable to Branch operations, including but not limited to liquidity, interest rate, currency, reputation risks, etc.
- Co-chair the Credit Risk Committee, Assets and Liabilities Committee, Outsourcing Committee and New Products Management Committee
- Oversee the development of management information system for monitoring and reporting risks to branch Management and Head Office Risk Management
- Conduct Disaster Recovery exercise, establish Business Continuity Plan for the Branch
- Conduct credit, liquidity stress test to identify and manage crisis
- Responsible for outsourcing and new products/services risk management
- Review and update the branch’s policy and procedures related to risks management
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Business/Finance
- Minimum 10 years of risk management experience in Wholesale Bank (Credit, Market and Operation Risks)
- Strong Credit and security documentation knowledge
- Preferably with knowledge of Private Banking business
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Salary Range: $10,000 to $12,000 Per Month
