Contract Accounts & Finance Officer, Banking (9 Months)

Job Description:

  • Ensure daily reconciliation is conducted in accordance to Finance Procedure manual and Head Office guidelines
  • Assist in preparation of quarterly and term end closing for timely and accurate reporting to Head Office
  • Ensure timely completion of daily accounting operations, preparing and posting of accounting entries
  • Provide support to regional branches with Finance and other departments when required
  • Filing of documents and other administrative tasks
  • Flexibility to perform ad hoc tasks

 

Requirements:

  • University Degree in Accountancy or Finance related
  • At least 3 years’ experience related experience with minimum 3 years in operational accounting function in a banking institution preferred
  • Sound knowledge in Finance
  • Possess experience in MIS
  • Good in Excel and with numbers
  • Prior experience in external audit, cover financial services / banking industry will be an advantage
  • Ability to start work immediately would be preferred
  • Possess an eye for details
  • Good team player
  • Flexibility to work on extended hours during peak period
