Job Descriptions:
Onboarding
- Meet and collate all new joiners’ information and onboarding paperwork and work closely with the Center for Integrated HR Services (CIHRS) in Bangalore and background screening vendor to manage the new hire process
- Send new joiner notification to CIHRS (HR Operations located in Bangalore), p-files creation, following up closely to ensure all essential documents are signed and received
- Review HR records to ensure that these have been correctly created and / or updated by CIHRS
- Initiate relocation process for overseas new hires such as work pass application, booking of temporary accommodation, shipment of personal effects, tax assistance etc.
- Work with various internal departments such as the Technology, Finance and Admin teams to resolve any issue with new joiner’s access to internal applications
- Liaise with Compliance department on employee registration / licensing with MAS
- Review background check reports and escalate major discrepancies / seek approval to close off minor discrepancies
- Meet and greet new joiner and perform first day on boarding formalities
Life Events
- Probation and confirmation of employment
- Re-employment of older workers
- Monitor contract end dates, and initiate CIHRS on work pass renewal process
- MAS 753 Notification for regulated employees
- Invoices management and processing
Off boarding
- Initiate off boarding process for leavers
- Conduct exit clearance with leavers, manage all associated paper work and queries
- Cancellation of work pass on EPOnline and issue Short Term Visit Pass where applicable
Operations
- Attend to non-standard employee queries
- Print standard and ad hoc letter requests from employees for HR Services Manager to sign off
- Update of employee particulars changes on iSubmit
- P-file closure for archiving
- Monitor HR mailbox and re-direct emails to the relevant parties
- Draft employee communications
- Draft quarterly newsletter for HR section
- Perform quarterly audit check on the p-files of new joiners and leavers for completeness of on
- boarding / off boarding documents
HR Projects
- Manage and organize the Promotion Party
Job Requirements:
- Min 3 years HR generalist experience, in financial institution preferred
- Must be able to work on simple data analysis in MS Excel and prepare presentations including graphs
- and organization charts in MS PowerPoint
- Should be familiar with MS Outlook for scheduling meetings and e-mail communication
- Good listening and summarizing skills
- Organized and diligent with a natural inclination for planning and follow through
- Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others in different locations
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree holder
Salary: $5,000 Per Month
