Job Description:
- Communicate client outreach best practices, procedures, control metrics and reporting for KYC utilities which allows the Bank to measure client experience and improve it.
- Act as the clients advocate in the Bank with regard to customers KYC utility adoption and usage, product development, product development and prioritization and risk management, with particular reference to process excellence in terms of client focus and contact.
- Encourage buy-side market participation and adoption of KYC utilities, and advise on any strategic positioning that might be required to ensure/assure client retention and client adoption of the Bank's services and products.
- Develop and deploy a local communications plan for KYC utilities encompassing:
- COB staff and management communications
- Customer communications
- Bank's Leadership messages
- Regulatory communications
- KYC utility vendors
- In conjunction with the Global Service Readiness lead, to develop a plan to achieve operational readiness to adopt the service in Asia. To manage all aspects of the analysis and design, build and test and staff training around the plan
- To build and maintain effective relationships with business managers, compliance, legal, vendor management and outsourcing teams, senior management and other back office and middle office areas.
- Act as Project point of contact to both the business and offshore/nearshore Client onboarding teams
- As required, attend and speak at Industry events
- Maintain the project plans and track progress to plans, track against issues, risks and actions and ensure the all key stakeholders are kept informed and consulted as required.
- Prepare OpCo and Steering committee material on a monthly basis to support in the communications on progress to plan, highlight key decisions required, risks & issues and update on resourcing and budget.
- Travel to other Bank locations as required, for business meetings
Job Requirements:
- Degree holder
- AML/ KYC or compliance related qualification / experience, business analyst experience, project management qualifications
- Overall relevant experience of at least 5+ years in a project / business analyst role
- Overall relevant experience of at least 3+ years in a KYC/AML related role
- Good understanding and experience of Investment Banking and products including traded products, commodities corporate finance, transaction banking etc
- Proven track record of relationship and stakeholder management at a senior level
- Proven ability to prioritize competing demands.
- Knowledge of relevant AML regulations and industry guidelines (FCA, JMLSG, 3rd EU Money Laundering Directive) MIFID Categorisation, EMIR, Dodd Frank, FATCA
- Knowledge of market initiatives around KYC, and relative market positioning of utilities in the value chain
- Demonstrated ability of designing services in a shared service/utility
- Experience of benefit assessment and operational improvement analysis techniques
- Expertise in developing service KPI’s and measuring ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ service capability of both internal functions and shared services
- Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadline
- Presentable and articulate with good communication skills Confident in working with front office, support areas and utility providers
